How to Train My Dog Blog

Snowbound in Seattle. This video starts out with one my favorite photos of the Good Boy Blue … it’s a photo from an old ice hockey stadium in Calgary, Canada. Blue was there performing disc dog shows at the Calgary Pet Expo with some of his friends from WOOFD2 (WWW.Woofd2.com). The bathrooms were circa 1962 and it looked Blue could be trained to use the urinals. It’s a great dog trick. A lot of people liked this photo. I loaded it up to the web and it ended up in a lot of interesting places. But the video is more about hanging out on a really cold winter day and making sure your dog gets plenty of time to go outside in spite of the weather. It takes commitment to own a dog and you can’t skimp on the comfort breaks. But if you train your dog right you don’t have to stand in the cold for 20 minutes waiting for him or her to “do their business.”
